The hardy few QT guides still remaining in Xela helped prepare food baskets for the children & families of EDELAC’s safe home and school. They prepared bags for 19 families, which each contained eight pounds of rice, 4 bags of the high-nutrient “Incaparina”, 12 pounds of pasta, 8 pounds of oats, 2 laters of oil, sugar, milk powder, and soap for personal washing and dish washing. Each bag cost Q205.
